Amnéville plant

At the Amnéville production site, we manufacture large-dimension parts and mechanical assemblies. To best serve our customers, VALMECA has adapted its structure and equipment to handle requests for large-scale machining. On our Amnéville site, we process mechanical assemblies up to 40 tons per unit.

In Vaucouleurs, the production site specializes in the manufacturing of precision parts and assemblies. VALMECA has invested in cutting-edge equipment enabling precision machining up to 8 tons.

1976 — Founding: VALMECA is created, specialising in mill guide systems and laying the foundations of its mechanical expertise.

1979 — LLC: The company becomes VALMECA SARL, strengthening its organisation and industrial ambitions.

1981 — Corporation: Set-up in Vaucouleurs and first steps toward international development.

1981 — 14 employees: The team grows, reflecting recognised know-how and steady momentum.

1987 — Amnéville: Opening of a new workshop equipped with the first CNC machines.

1989 — Exports: 30 % of revenue generated abroad — a major milestone for the company.

1991 — Workforce: 40 employees support VALMECA’s expansion.

1995 — ISO 9002:1994: First quality certification, a mark of rigour and reliability for customers.

2000 — Vaucouleurs: The main workshop doubles its floor area to meet growing demand.

2002 — ISO 9001:2000: New certification confirming VALMECA’s commitment to quality.

2005 — Growth: Revenue increases by more than 30 %.

2006 — Amnéville: +1105 m² and a 40-ton overhead crane expand heavy-duty capability.

2007 — Investments: Acquisition of a 5-axis machining centre for complex parts.

2008 — Turning point: Revenue exceeds €13 m; VALMECA becomes a direct supplier to EDF.

2012 — Aerospace: Strategic partnership with LISI-Aerospace opens a high-end market.

2016 — Amnéville: New extension and modernisation of the machine park.

2018 — ISO 9001:2015: Certification renewed, ensuring quality and full traceability.

2019 — Machine park: New milling and boring machines with up to 18-ton capacity.

2020 — 5-axis machining: Installation of a HURON KX200 for high-precision work.

2021 — Leadership: Ludovic CHERY becomes CEO and sets a renewed course.

2023 — Metrology: Commissioning of a MORI SEIKI lathe and a MITUTOYO CMM.
